A traditional variety from the mountainous Kyoto region of Japan. It has long stems that are tender, juicy, and dark, as well as nutritious greens.

Red Russian / Heirloom
(aka Ragged Jack) One of the hardiest and most tender-leaved of all kales, this variety is originally from Siberia and was brought to Canada by Russian traders around 1885. Its beautiful, frilly, purple-veined, blue-green leaves are tinged with red-purple and resemble oak leaves. Leaves have a mild, sweet flavor.

Delivery
We deliver our produces on Tuesday (zip code 80205 is free). Free Delivery in metro Denver area with purchase with over $25.
You will receive your order the first Tuesday after you place your order. Please place a cooler outside your front door (frozen water bottle helps fresh green to stay crisp) the morning of your delivery day.
